It's nice to see something from the other side. If she lost the pageant because of her answer then God bless her.
Matthew 5:10 - Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
John 15:20 - Remember the words I spoke to you: 'No servant is greater than his master.' If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also.
2 Timothy 3:12-13 - In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, while evil men and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.
And shame on Perez Hilton. His judging isn't surprising but to follow it up on his blog. Shameful.
Proverbs 24:23-25 - These also are sayings of the wise. Partiality in judging is not good. Whoever says to the wicked, "You are in the right," will be cursed by peoples, abhorred by nations, but those who rebuke the wicked will have delight, and a good blessing will come upon them.
I thought of those same verses. I guess you can't be Miss USA unless you are politically correct-so much for free speech! Sad times in our country!
